 Description:

A novel full of dating, breakup and love truths: direct, raw and goddamn exposing.

Amelia is plunged into a whirlwind of contradictory thoughts and feelings after a sudden end with another man she has recently opened up to. Yet again, in the contemporary world, she is compelled to dwell upon her life and what dating entails. The responses she discovers, especially from a new guy who exposes the way people really think, make her ever more determined that it will never happen again. It all helps to set her free... maybe.

"I don't know, I just think that there's so much miscommunication between girls and men. I say, nobody knows what the heck is going on here. We ought to hold a dialogue. I said, taking my drink from the bedside table, "We need to vent it and get it out in the open."

He leaned on the side of the bed and put on his shirt again. What would you like to know? ”

What I want is to see what people are saying. I mean, we've got sex and things and there's never something that lasts," I said, taking out a cigarette and lighting it up." I knew I wasn't supposed to smoke in the room, but I was too drunk to notice.

“I don’t think I should say. We don’t know everything girls are thinking. I think some things are better left unsaid.”

“I want to know. I’d prefer shit to be clearer, because I’m always confused,” I replied. I could tell he was still a bit sexually frustrated, but he seemed okay to chat.

“Go ahead then, ask what you want. I’ll try give it to you as straight as I can. But don’t hate the messenger,” _______ responded, taking the champagne from my hand and having some.

“I won’t, promise. So why do guys act so interested and then not get in touch at all? ” I asked.
