 Description:

As a result of his favourite book, Paulo Coelho's enchanting novel has inspired a devoted fanbase around the world. This novel, which cleverly weaves together the tales of a shepherd boy and a treasure seeker in the desert, is about an Andalusian shepherd boy who journeys from his hometown in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of a treasure hidden in the Pyramids.

As an example, The Alchemist is a novel with a common theme isolated from the real world by the first person narration, which has its own famous example the book "The hundred-yard dash". While there may be people singing Zac Brown's most famous album, it is not a new one. Ancient tribal storytellers 'know' that what they have to say is a perfect way to impress an audience whether it be with a storey or a jam. A Brazilian storyteller Paulo Coelho introduces the storey of a shepherd boy in Andalusia named Santiago who one night dreams of a treasure in the Egyptian pyramids. After his exit, he practically flew to America to fulfil his dream.

Along the way to his ultimate destination he encounters several divine messengers, who come in unassuming ways such as a camel pilot, an Englishman, and a street sweeper. The Englishman learns of the alchemists—men who believe that if you heat a metal for several years, its substance will be lost, and that is all that is left, which having freed itself of qualities, is the soul of the world. As the Englishman read through the book, he discovers that he too has a zeal for things that he feels will lead him to a fundamental breakthrough. He pursues this desire with the alchemist, and as they grow to like each other, it is the Englishman's changes and progress that is made apparent in the process. He follows the core ideals of his teacher's passion, and truly discovers the many benefits of alchemy, rather than just the other way around. "My heart is afraid that it will have to suffer," he confides to the alchemist, with his eyes staring at a moonless night.
